Established in 1976, Austin Driving School is a driving school, with offices in Austin, Arlington, College Station, Fort Worth, Garland, Pflugerville, Rount Rock, San Antonio, Temple and Waco, Ariz. Each of the company s locations is state licensed and bonded as required by law. The school offers the state required 32 hours of classroom theory and 14-hour in-car drivers education programs, year-round. Its classroom training program requires students to attend two hour classes each scheduled class day, and subsequently qualifies them to receive a learner's permit after three days. After receiving the instructional permit, students can begin the behind-the-wheel phase of their training while continuing with their classroom theory instruction. The school provides in-car training sessions in late model, dual-controlled cars. Graduates are provided certificates acknowledging completion of the state requirements for driver education, and that makes the student eligible for licensing.
