Challenger Elementary School is a part of Huntsville City Schools and serves students in grades kindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as reading, writing and grammar skills, art, math, physical education and health, music, special education, basic science and social studies. The school is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges. Extensive extracurricular activities and after school programs add to the learning experience of its students. It additionally offers students special programs in poster making, organization and creative writing.
