In order to support its teachers, Thomas Jefferson has a reading recovery team, title I teachers, shared teaching program and a school-based tutoring outreach program. Thomas Jefferson Elementary School was one of two Arkansas schools accepted into the Great Expectations of Arkansas Program in 2003.
