Founded in 1920, the Thunderbird Adventist Academy is a private, coeducational school that has an enrollment of more than 135 students in grades 9 through 12. The Christ-centered school assists with the academic, physical and spiritual growth of individuals. It is accredited by the North Central Accreditation Association and the Western Association of Schools & Colleges. The Thunderbird Adventist Academy offers classes in English, math, science and Bible studies. The school additionally provides honors courses in chemistry, physics, and anatomy and physiology. In addition, it offers a selection of athletic activities, such as soccer, basketball and baseball. The Thunderbird Adventist Academy maintains a library and cafeteria. Laguna Elementary School is now called Laguna Preparatory School. We are an A+ STEAM School, located in the heart of Scottsdale, just off of Shea and Linda Vinda. We are a preschool through fifth grade school that specializes in inquiry-based instruction, focusing on science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math. We follow all state standards, but require students to work together on group projects and be good citizens! We are actively giving tours for the current school, as well as next year.
