Breakthrough Academy is a private, special day school committed to effective, evidence-based instruction within small classes (ranging from 3 to 10 students). We specialize in the "science of learning" that is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to foster socially appropriate behavior that makes our learners successful in their learning. We use Direct Instruction and Precision Teaching to remediate learning gaps in the whole child - from academics to interpersonal skills. Our goal is to foster critical thinking that helps students return to a general education setting and live independently.
