Established in 1958, Thew Elementary School is a learning center that enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. The school provides general academic, Head Start and special education programs. Its staff includes curriculum specialists, speech therapists, psychologists, language arts coaches and instructional assistants. Thew Elementary School offers a variety of extracurricular activities that includes art, band, orchestra, music and physical education. The school operates various after-school clubs, such as reading, sports, homework, and arts and crafts. It also organizes several field trips, book fairs and musical concerts.
