The foundational principles for the educational philosophy of Leman Academy of Excellence have been formed and established by Dr. Kevin Leman, the founder of the school, who has often dreamed of launching a school and learning environment for young people that willingly engages and embraces parents in the educational process, highlighting the parent/teacher/scholar relationship to bring out the best in each and every child.

Santa Rita High School

The Santa Rita High School operates on the semester system and offers various classes and programs in areas, such as theater, computer technology, life science, math, special education, journalism, music, food and culinary arts, business and social studies. It also encourages interscholastic activities, including speeches, debates and decathlons. Its honors program provides opportunity to students who want to attend four-year college. The schools classrooms are equipped with Internet. Its library offers references, resource materials, online catalogs, encyclopedias, atlases, grammar, articles and magazines. The school has teams in sports, including tennis, soccer, basketball, swimming, wrestling, cross country, tracks and football. Located in Tucson, Ariz., the Santa Rita High School is a part of the Tucson Unified School District.
