Vision: We are a professional learning community that exists to ensure that all students perform at high levels. Vintage High School is a large, fully accredited comprehensive high school with a wide range of academic offerings, athletic opportunities and student activities. The 50-acre campus is located in suburban north Napa. Buildings are single story set in a grove of native California oaks. Crusher Creek runs through the center of the campus connecting a tiny wilderness area known as the VEEA ( Vintage Environmental Experiences Area ) with a small working agricultural area known as the Vintage Farm. Students, staff and parents work together to make Vintage a clean, safe, fun and friendly school focused on the knowledge and skills represented by a high school diploma in the State of California. Students arrive on the campus from homes as far away as the Vallejo city line to the south, Lake Berryessa to the east, and Yountville to the north. All socio-economic levels are represented at Vintage High School. Our ethnic composition includes 1.9% Native American, 3.0% Asian, 24.1% Hispanic, 3.9% African American, 5.9% Filipino, 0.6% Pacific Islanders, and 54.6% white. GATE students represent 8.7%, English Language Learners respresent 11%, and Special Education students make up 11% of the student population. Vintage High School exists to uphold a caring, collaborative, rigorous academic environment that promotes the integrity of the individual and is relevant to the world around us.
Napa Valley Language Academy is a Spanish and English immersion charter school within the Napa Valley Unified School District in San Francisco. The school offers a bilingual program to all students beginning in kindergarten and continuing through fifth grade. The two-way immersion program is a K-8 model where English and Spanish speakers have the opportunity to become bilingual while making normal progress in all academic areas. The Immersion program continues in grades six to eight at Harvest Middle School. The school offers various cultural and performing arts activities. Over 200 students participate in weekly after school classes in the arts including Ballet and Movement. Multicultural Visual Arts, Suzuki Violin, and Ballet Folkorico.
