Fremont Elementary School provides educational classes to more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade five. It is one of the oldest and largest schools in Riverside, Calif. Established in 1917, the school is a part of the Riverside Unified School District. It has a multipurpose cafeteria and more than 40 classrooms. The school offers a variety of educational and extracurricular programs for students, as well as teachers. Its Title I program offers classroom support in reading. The school also provides before- and after-school and intercession support and technology programs. The school operates an after-school program, Project Courage, which provides students with homework assistance, recreation and instruction in self-esteem.
Madison Elementary School enrolls more than 800 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school provides Title 1, balanced literacy and categorical programs. Its staff members include subject teachers, librarians, resource specialists, and speech and language pathologists. Madison Elementary School operates a library resource center that offers textbooks in English and Spanish. The school s facilities include an auditorium, cafeteria, conference room, playground and classrooms. It additionally provides English as a Second Language and adult education programs. Madison Elementary School, founded in 1952, is located in Riverside, Calif. The school s core curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies and language arts.
