The Campbell Union High School District teachers, administrators and support staff look forward to meeting you and your student as we begin to work together for your child's educational success. We realize that you as parents have high expectations. As specialists in high school education, the Campbell Union High School District is focused on providing innovative, challenging and high quality educational experiences for all of our students. CUHSD has a 100+ year track record of student success including National Blue Ribbon and California Distinguished school awards. We will make certain we work closely with parents and community groups to listen and to collaborate on issues of curriculum, K-12 articulation, communication and parent involvement. Even in the face of California's budget problem and its effect on the State's schools, the Campbell Union High School District continues to provide a balanced and challenging educational program of great variety and rigor. Our district continues to emphasize the goal of more powerful teaching to improve student learning. The state content standards in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Science, Science and the Arts form a basis for instruction in our classrooms. These standards are the benchmarks for all students. We continue to work with our five partner elementary districts to develop a coordinated K-12 program that will better prepare students to meet more demanding graduation requirements, and our teachers and administrators continue to develop and implement new strategies for getting extra help to those students who need it. You are an important participant in your student's education. You can e-mail me at rfarber@cuhsd.org or call me at the district office at 371-0960 ext. 2001. Information regarding contacting a teacher, school activities, Board of Trustee functions and district resources can be accessed on this web site. Thank you for entrusting your child's educational preparation to our professionals. Together we will prepare your student for an exciting future.
