Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five and offers a variety of learning opportunities. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as mathematics, social studies, science, reading and writing. The school also offers after-school learning, education technology, music, outreach, reading first and volunteer programs. It has a library that stocks a variety of reading and reference materials. The school additionally has a parent-teacher organization that conducts various fundraising activities. It is a part of the Santa Ana Unified School District, which serves more than 55,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12. The school district operates several elementary, intermediate, high, alternative high, charter and special schools. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School is located in Santa Ana, Calif.
