Moreland Middle School offers lessons in an array of subjects, including civics, geography, English, science and math. In addition, the school provides education in several elective subjects, such as creative arts, reading, art, band, drama, choir, family and consumer science and study skills. The middle school employs a number of resource specialists and office personnel. Moreland Middle School offers various sports programs that include cross country, volleyball, soccer, basketball, and track and field. It operates a cafeteria and library. The middle school provides education to students in grades six through eight and is located in San Jose, Calif.
The Cupertino Union School District owns and operates various elementary and middle schools. It serves more than 17,500 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The district s schools offer classes in reading, music, language arts, math, English, science, social studies, physical education and foreign languages. It also provides various school-based programs, including extended learning, special education, and English language development. The school district operates a pupil services department that offers psychological and speech and occupational therapy services. Chess Wizards is one of the largest chess academies in the nation, with hundreds of programs at schools and park districts. Chess Wizards is offering specially designed after school classes that cater to all levels of chess ability. Each child is challenged by fun games and lessons from real Wizard teachers. We run a number of tournaments, school matches, and winter/summer camps to challenge our students.
