Founded in 1956, Broadmoor Elementary is an educational institution that provides a range of academic services to students in kindergarten through grade six. It offers classes in reading, writing, math, science, English, social studies, physical education, music, computer technology, language arts and Spanish. The school provides Title I, English Language Learners and special education programs. It operates a counseling department that offers information on scholarship opportunities, graduation requirements and career planning. The school additionally maintains a parent-teacher organization that serves as a resource for students, parents and staff. It also has a library media center that stocks books, periodicals and newspapers, as well as provides links to search engines.
