Camelback Academy is a Project CHILD school located in Glendale, Ariz. Created in 1988, Project CHILD is a research-based and data-driven teaching methodology for grades kindergarten through grade five. It focuses on teaching specific content areas in a unique and engaging child-centered learning environment. The academy teaches the one content area to students in grades kindergarten through grade two or grade three-five. Its classrooms have computer station for technology-based work, a textbook station for paper/pencil work and three activity stations for hands-on work.
