Currently enrolling for the 2026-27 school year. We are a full-day Christian Preschool and Kindergarten committed to quality childcare in the community of Irvine. We are a ministry of Shepherd's Grove Presbyterian Church, founded in 1985 in the memory of Jennifer Lynn Hart. (1978-1984) We are a play based program, focusing on building healthy social skills, while exposing children to pre-academic concepts. We offer a balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated activities in a full day of age-appropriate learning experiences.
Woodbury Elementary School, located in the Village of Woodbury in the City of Irvine, is a K-6 year-round, single-track school. The school was originally established almost forty years ago as El Camino Elementary School. In 2007, the Woodbury Elementary School staff and students left the El Camino Elementary campus to move to a new location into a brand new facility at our present site. Currently, Woodbury has an enrollment of approximately 1,170 students. Although the majority of students speak English, a large number of students from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and speak many different languages. This international population, coupled with a number of students with special needs, creates a rich and diverse student body. At Woodbury, our diverse population is embraced, different cultural backgrounds are appreciated, and character development is encouraged. Woodbury's mission is to create a challenging and nurturing environment through which we meet the academic needs of our students, and empower them with the values necessary to become contributing members of society. Woodbury staff, parents, and surrounding community share a common vision. High quality classroom instruction, students who are highly motivated to learn, a warm and nurturing learning environment, and a supportive and encouraging parent community make Woodbury a wonderful place to learn and work. Canyon View Elementary School offers classes from grades kindergarten through six. Its facility consists of more than 30 classrooms, including spaces for special programs in music, art and science. It also includes more than 300 ports to the Internet and school-wide video capacity. The school s information resource center serves as an electronic hub that provides information access and communication throughout the building and the community. The school s classrooms are attached to a common technology satellite area to facilitate technology-supported teaching and learning. Canyon View Elementary School also operates an advisory body that develops school improvement plan and reviews the effectiveness of educational programs. The school has an enrollment of more than 850 students and is located in Irvine, Calif.
