St Elizabeth Elementary School

St. Elizabeth Elementary School is a vibrant Catholic school community in Oakland dedicated to forming the whole child — academically, spiritually, and socially. Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the rich tradition of the Catholic Church, we partner with families to nurture students in faith, character, and excellence. Our mission is to develop confident learners, compassionate leaders, and responsible citizens who are prepared for success in high school and beyond. We proudly serve students in Jr. Kindergarten (turning 4 by Sept. 1) through 8th grade in a close-knit, diverse community where every child is known, valued, and challenged to grow. Our blended learning model allows teachers to differentiate instruction and meet students where they are, while maintaining high academic standards, fostering strong relationships, and proving individualized support. At St. Elizabeth, Religion is not simply a subject, but woven throughout the day. Students participate in weekly Mass, daily prayer, service learning, and virtue formation. We emphasize leadership, accountability, and service to others, empowering students to live out Gospel values in meaningful ways. Families often describe our school as welcoming, structured, joyful, and mission-driven. We believe education is a partnership, and we are committed to open communication, high expectations, and a safe, supportive environment. At St. Elizabeth Elementary School, we don’t just educate minds — we form hearts.
