Aspen Creek is a PreK-8th grade school within the Boulder Valley School District. Located in Broomfield, Colorado, this tuition-free co-educational public school serves 760 diverse students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. This school offers free and tuition preschool classes that have a focus on both academic and developmental learning standards. How is our school unique? Aspen Creek is a learning community centered on a whole-child learning approach. We offer authentic academic opportunities, a strong sense of community, and a feeling of belonging for each child. We also have a unique opportunity as a PreK-8 school to really build community, have vertical articulation, eliminate transitional gaps, and have middle level students serve as strong role models. Enrichment opportunities are available for all students through differentiation in their classrooms, our visual and performing arts programs, elective classes at the middle level, as well as through clubs, competitions, and interest groups. We also offer academic and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) for all students who would benefit from these additional opportunities. Through this layered approach, we aim to personalize learning and to ensure emotional supports are in place for all students. Our overarching goal is to ensure every student has everything they need in order to achieve their highest potential.
