Franklin Elementary School is an educational institution that serves more than 450 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. Located in Pueblo, Colo., Morton Elementary School conducts fall carnivals, award assemblies, book fairs, and foster grandparent, musical, accelerated reading and children mentoring programs. It also operates a parent-teacher association and student council. The school features primary computer and math laboratories. It additionally conducts a preschool program for children of ages 3 and 4. Morton Elementary School employs reading coaches, paraprofessionals, media specialists, counselors, therapists, behavioral advocates and psychologists, as well as maintains a media center.
