Paul Laurence Dunbar Middle School offers classes in various subjects, including language arts, math, reading, science, social studies and physical education. It has various clubs and organizations, such as the National Junior Honor Society, peer mediation, student council, art portfolio club and super study sessions. The school organizes various sporting activities that include basketball, cross country, volleyball, soccer, track and field, golf and tennis. It has a parent-teacher-student association that works to foster close relations between home and school, as well as welcome parents to attend meetings and participate in its varied activities.
