Our child care center has cared for and educated thousands of children since 1990. It was founded by Diana Callinan, a parent of four wonderful children. Diana, a former elementary school teacher, decided to open a commercial child care center when her family day care had more requests than she could accommodate. She began in Edison, NJ and after 10 years moved to Metuchen, NJ at 24-30 Hillside Avenue About Us Our child care center focuses on nurturing the entire child. We understand each child is unique and should not have to fit into a predetermined program. We help children to problem solve and make decisions , while promoting interpersonal communications. These are key elements which contribute to the child's development, self esteem and confidence.
St. John Vianney Church was founded in 1959 by the then Bishop of Trenton. It was a part of the parish of St. Cecelia in Iselin. The land in which the church stands was an early 20th-century farm. Today its complex features a school, administration offices, a convent, the sanctuary, a parish center and sports facilities.
