About Montessori Elementary School Established in 2005, Montessori Elementary School ( TMES ) is a charter school through the Public Education Commission ( PEC ) in State of New Mexico. TMES currently serves students from kindergarten through eighth grade from Albuquerque and the surrounding areas. TMES classes incorporate the Montessori philosophy and curriculum, with weekly Suzuki music lessons, art and general music classes. All students and parents participate in the Suzuki Method and take lessons in violin.
