Seven Tribe Playground

Serving children ages 2 1/2 to 5+ in mixed-age classes, Seven Tribe Playground is a nature play preschool in York, PA committed to spirited learning, imagination, growth, and outdoor adventure. Our child care program is child-centered and child-led. Much of our day is spent outside in nature. We have lots of open-ended materials that encourage exploration, creativity, and discovery. Our indoor classrooms are inspired by nature and promote a sense of peace. Our approach is holistic; we believe that developing social skills, emotional intelligence, and mindfulness is just as important as the ABC's and 123's. Our classes also include art, music, and yoga. We have small, mixed-age classes for 2 1/2 to 5+ year olds (must be working towards toilet proficiency). Our student to staff ratio is 4 to 1. We offer a partial day program (9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) with an extended day option (12:30-3 p.m.). You may sign up for 2, 3, 4, or 5 days a week. As long as we have openings, you get to choose the days that work for your family. We understand each family has different needs so we designed a program with flexible scheduling. Our classes include: Lots of learning and play outdoors! In addition to preschool fundamentals like ABCs and 123s, we offer kid yoga, mindfulness activities, a focus on emotional intelligence, earth-centered practices, and lots of creative arts.
