Established in 1913, Assumption Catholic School serves more than 350 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school s curriculum addresses the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical and social needs of children. It employs assessment techniques, such as accelerated reader quizzes, developmental reading assessments (DRA), Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) and Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL). Evergreen Christian School specializes in quality Christian education for students where a biblical worldview is nurtured. We serve students in grades Preschool to Grade 8.We offer a traditional curriculum that is rich in literacy and includes Science, Math, Bible, Language Arts, Social Studies, Music, Art, and PE. Technology is integrated throughout the curriculum. In addtion to our traditional program we are offering a new Spanish Immersion program that will begin in the fall of 2015 for students in Pre3, Pre4 and Kindergarten. We will add a grade a year as students in the program progress.
