West Port High School is a coeducational institution that offers various academic programs, including general graduation, honors, advanced placement and dual enrollment courses. The school provides classes to students in grades nine through 12, and participates in and offers a variety of co-curricular and athletic activities within its programs. Brothers Keeper is a ministry of Blessed Trinity that serves the needy of Marion County. It is supported by a staff of volunteers and its office is open Monday through Friday to provide emergency food, utility assistance, prescriptions, food or clothing vouchers and other forms of assistance. The ministry also qualifies clients for Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets. The ministry of religious education encompasses many areas and age groups. Blessed Trinity also has an endowment and charitable trust. It has 75 charter members and many generous benefactors.
Howard Middle School, Established in 1955 as Howard High School, is an educational institution that serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes English, language arts, math, science, social studies, art, music, computer applications, and health and physical education. Howard Middle School has an annual enrollment of more than 1,120 students and is comprised of over 70 teachers and administrators.
