Governed by St. Paul Parish, St. Paul Catholic School serves more than 250 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school s curriculum includes math, music, computer applications and physical education. It offers extended-day and after-care services for children. Founded in 1964, it offers a variety of athletic activities and is a member of the Catholic Youth Sports League (CYSL). The school also maintains a student yearbook that includes pictures of special events. St. Paul Catholic School maintains a staff of the State of Florida Department of Education-certified teachers and is accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference.
Ferry Pass Elementary School, established in 1949, serves the Escambia County School District. Its facility includes classrooms, a cafeteria, library, media center and administrative office. The school provides learning services and skills training for students in grades kindergarten through five that include courses in language arts, mathematics, social studies, science and computer applications. Its educational partners include the West Florida Regional Medical Center, Ferry Pass United Methodist Church and Technology Associates. Its math-science magnet program provides real-world problem solving concepts and instructions to students through multimedia computers and Internet access. Ferry Pass Elementary School is located in Pensacola, Fla.
