Operational since 1959, Robert M. Martin Elementary School serves more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s educational programs include instruction in mathematics, reading, science, social studies and language arts. It also offers physical education and music classes. Robert M. Martin Elementary School features a library that provides research and reading materials and hosts book fairs. The school offers sports programs that include basketball and soccer. In addition, it provides the Accelerated Reader, early childhood, and before- and after-school tutoring programs. Robert M. Martin Elementary School operates a parent-teacher organization and site council. It offers special education classes for students with learning disabilities. The school is a part of Andover Public Schools.
