Northview High School has various academic departments, such as business, English, fine arts, integrated skills, math, physical education, computer applications, science and social studies. The school s performing arts department provides classes in art, band, choir and dance. In addition, the high school offers instruction in criminalistics and forensic science. Northview High School promotes student participation in numerous sports programs, such as soccer, cross country, hockey, football, basketball, gymnastics, wrestling, baseball, golf, softball and tennis. Its guidance department provides college and financial aid information, academic support and personal counseling sessions. Northview High School operates under Northview Public Schools and is located in Grand Rapids, Mich.

NorthPointe Christian School is a 39 year old independent Christian school serving over 740 students ranging from 3 year old Preschool through 12 grade. Programs are available for full-time and part-time students. NorthPointe Christian offers traditional, Spanish immersion, and school & home hybrid models of education.
