East Grand Rapids Public Schools operates various elementary, middle and high schools. It serves more than 2,500 students in kindergarten through grade 12. East Grand Rapids Middle School offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to students in grades six through eight. Located in East Grand Rapids, Mich., the school offers various programs, including English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. It is affiliated with the East Grand Rapids Public Schools, and provides language arts, Spanish, choir, orchestra, band, creative writing and study skills. East Grand Rapids Middle School additionally provides French, architecture, basic repair, logic and reasoning skills, journalism, forensics, pottery and printmaking and multimedia studies. The school also offers various activities, such as science Olympiad, Odyssey of the Mind, yearbook and newspaper, student council and several student volunteer programs.

It maintains more than 20 campuses throughout California, Idaho, Nevada and Utah. Challenger School also provides lessons in music, art, computer applications, public speaking and drama and physical education.
