The North Carolina Boys Academy in Conover, North Carolina is a holistic Christian boarding school for adolescent boys struggling with issues such as extreme behavioral struggles, academic failure, anger, and rebellion, or other life-controlling behaviors. We endeavor to help young men mature spiritually, emotionally, and physically as they discover God's purpose for their lives. Our goal is to transform boys into mature, godly young men who are able to thrive in their God-given purposes for the rest of their lives.
Newton-Conover High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school operates a student service department for the purpose of providing comprehensive support services to all students to prepare them for postsecondary studies and productive citizenry. Its student service department employs a dropout intervention specialist, work-based learning coordinator and full-time counselors. The school also offers scholarships to students based on their academic achievement and athletic ability. In addition, Newton-Conover High School offers a range of courses in agriscience, business education, career and technology education, English, family and consumer science, fine arts, and health and family education. Located in Newton, N.C., the school is a part of Newton-Conover City Schools.
