Cordero Community School has an enrollment of more than 650 students in prekindergarten through grade eight. It offers a range of academic programs and before- and after-school activities to promote students achievements. The school s second grade uses parallel block scheduling to reduce class size in reading and math and provides basic skills assistance to all children. Its middle school elective program focuses on career readiness and self-management skills in several areas related to photography, culinary arts, entertainment, journalism, business, finance and community service. Hudson Catholic Regional High School, established in 1964, is a coeducational institution for men of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark. The school employs more than 20 faculty members.
