Established in 1970, Copley High School is a part of Copley-Fairlawn City Schools. Located in Copley, Ohio, the school has an enrollment of approximately 1,100 students in grades 9 through 12. Its facilities include a gymnasium, auditorium, cafeteria, and science and computer labs. Copley High School offers advanced placement courses in English, math, history, biology, physics and chemistry. It also provides foreign language classes in French, Spanish and German. The school offers membership for the National Honor Society, student council, and chess and key clubs. Its athletics department includes various interscholastic sports activities, such as cross country, swimming, wrestling, baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis and track. Copley High School s faculty consists of administrators, counselors, librarians and more than 60 classroom teachers.
Betty Jane Elementary School, located in Akron, Ohio, serves students from kindergarten through fifth-grade and is one of the top scoring schools among Akron Public Schools. Various parent and student activity nights are offered for students that include grades K-2 family reading night, grades three to four organization of parent and teachers night and grades K-5 game night. Betty Jane also provides an extensive range of academic programs, remediation and intervention through supplemental mathematics and reading programs that include OhioReads volunteers, title one tutors and after school tutoring. The school was built in 1929 and borders the Goodyear Metropark.
