Bucher Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 280 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s core curriculum includes math, science, music, art, physical education and social studies. It offers a range of athletic activities, such as basketball, baseball, bowling, swimming, golf, soccer, tennis, cross-country, and track and field. Bucher Elementary School s library stocks a selection of books and reference materials. In addition, the school operates a parent-teacher organization. Bucher Elementary School also provides English as a Second Language and gifted and talented education programs. The school is governed by the Manheim Township School District, which manages several elementary, middle and high schools.
Lancaster Catholic High School serves the educational needs of students in grades nine through 12 and is located in Lancaster, Pa. Its curriculum includes religion, English, mathematics, science, world history, physical education and health. It has various departments, such as music, business, advancement, guidance and spiritual life. Its library provides various resources, such as books, magazines, encyclopedias and newspapers. Its parent-teacher organization is an important link between students, faculty, administration and parents. It is funded through membership dues and provides many opportunities, activities and aids to students, faculty and parents such as the family directory, faculty and staff appreciation dinner, career day for students, speakers and programs for students and parents and volunteer opportunities for parents.
