Courses are academically rigorous, yet developmentally appropriate to foster a child’s ability to think and communicate. OCS utilizes a Montessori-based, hybrid approach for the youngest students to be prepared for Kindergarten. Every grade level has a signature STEM project, including tapping maple trees and caring for sheep. Students excel in academics, participate in 15 athletic teams, and conduct service projects. Owned and operated by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia since 1936, OCS offers small class sizes, multilayered support, and 30 non-athletic afterschool programs.

Two Rivers Middle School is a learning center that is a part of Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, which serves more than 75,000 students through over 135 elementary, middle and high schools, as well as special education centers. The school serves students in grades five through eight. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, math, science and social studies. The school provides special education and Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) programs.
