Forbes Middle School is recognized by the Texas Education Agency and offers academic classes to more than 600 students in grades six through eight. The school has various clubs and organizations, such as drill team, cheerleaders, orchestra, peer mediation, student council and the National Junior Honor Society. It has a parent-teacher association that organizes a range of cultural and academic activities in order to provide financial assistance to the school.
