Applied Learning Processes provides treatment for learning disorders including dyslexia, dysgraphia, difficulties with language comprehension and expression, reasoning with numbers, visual-spatial skills, and critical thinking skills. Our methods are also helpful to individuals who have been diagnosed with CAPD, ADHD, and NVLD. Our work is multi-sensory and recognized by the International Dyslexia Association under the umbrella of Orton-Gillingham methods. Our methods are modeled off the work pioneered by the Lindamood-Bell organization. We work intensively with ages 5 to adult in a one-to-one format that is highly effective in changing learning problems that may have persisted for years or preventing the onset of learning problems in those just beginning their school years. Our goal is treatment that ends the need for perpetual tutoring and develops independence in reading, writing, comprehension, math and visual-motor skills.
Dyslexia 101 is a leading online program dedicated to helping children overcome reading challenges associated with dyslexia. With a foundation in extensive scientific and academic research, this program offers a unique approach that goes beyond mere intervention. It starts with an online assessment to measure the severity of a child's dyslexia, providing a detailed report comparing the child's reading ability to peers of the same age and gender. Based on this data, a certified Dyslexia 101 instructor crafts a personalized reading instruction program tailored to the child's specific needs. The program's methods, deeply rooted in science and psychology, aim to build confidence and empower children, ensuring they become competent readers.
