Every Child Bay (ECB) is an inclusive preschool rooted in Reggio Emilia philosophy and evidence-based developmental practices for children aged 18 months -5 years. We value and support the intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of children through play.
Spring Mandarin Immersion Preschool is a small, Reggio-inspired Mandarin immersion program in Albany, founded by an educator with a B.A. and M.A. in Early Child Development from San Francisco State University and 8+ years in licensed early childhood education. What makes Spring different begins with scale. We keep a 1:4 caregiver-to-child ratio so every child is closely observed, individually guided, and truly known. Enrollment is intentionally limited. Mandarin here is the language of daily life, not a subject taught in a single slot. Children absorb it through songs, stories, play, and project work — the way they learned to speak in the first place. Our Reggio-inspired, STEAM-integrated approach lets children's curiosity drive the inquiry, with science, math, art, and engineering emerging naturally from project-based exploration, all in Mandarin. Outdoor time is treated as curriculum rather than recess. Children spend meaningful time in our garden each day, observing seasons, tending plants, and building with natural materials. For children 18 months and older, a hot lunch, two snacks, and fresh fruit are included in tuition, prepared fresh on-site and drawing from both everyday nutrition and Chinese culinary traditions. We serve children ages 12 months to 5 years across three sequenced programs: Infant, Toddler, and Preschool. A licensed family child care home · DSS #013424115.
Au Beau Séjour Preschool provides a challenging education inspired by the Education National curriculum in France. Our children's well-being, happiness, academic, creativity, Social Emotional Learning and language development are at the foundation of our learning model. We provide homemade, "natural & organic" and wholesome meals, which we enjoy together as a community. Children also prepare foods for their teachers and friends in cooking activities. We offer 3 tuition options: 2, 3 or 5 days a week from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM OR 8:00 AM to 5:30PM if you need extended care. ABS offers an optional Summer camp Program from July through mid-August each year (6 weeks).
Our childcare program provides a nurturing environment for infants, toddlers, and school-age children. We focus on age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety, growth, and development in a supportive setting.
Early Childhood should be a time that is full of wonder, magic and exploration. At Lakeview we strive to incorporate this mission into all that we do. Imagine spending your day observing insects in the garden, watching seeds that were planted push through the soil, or seeing how a tornado looks inside a bottle. Visualize dancing with wrist ribbons and butterfly wings, listening with wonderment to the stories woven by our storyteller, or creating edible art creations that will delight all of your senses. This and so much more awaits your child at Lakeview Preschool. We invite you to further explore our website and to contact us if you'd like more information on the WORLD of opportunity which is provided.
