The Oaks Parent-Child Workshop is a play-based, child-centered cooperative preschool. As Santa Barbara's oldest preschool, we have been nurturing families since 1947.
Established in 1958, El Montecito Early School is a Christian educational institution that offers a range of learning and extracurricular opportunities for students. It has an annual enrollment of more than 130 students. The school serves students between the ages of 1 and 5. El Montecito Early School s academic curriculum includes music, singing, reading and art. The school also conducts field trips, as well as organizes parent-teacher conferences. It is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, Tri-Counties Association for the Education of the Young Child, and Association of Christian Schools International. El Montecito Early School is governed by El Montecito Presbyterian Church.
