Ridge City Preschool and Daycare serves the greater San Diego area. We are located on the campus of Canyon Ridge Baptist Church in the beautiful neighborhood of Linda Vista. Our qualified, dedicated team of teachers and teacher’s aides are ready to care your children in a safe and nurturing environment. Ridge City accommodates children from 6 weeks to 5 yrs old. Our two baby classrooms are capped at 8 children each and our older classrooms each have a maximum capacity of 12 students. This allows our groupings to stay small! Preschool teachers utilize a combination of play-based learning and an engaging curriculum that will introduce your child to a relationship with Jesus Christ, prepare them for kindergarten, and plant a seed for a bright future!
Our Preschool and Infant Programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Environment is everything when you're caring for children - we invite you to visit one our schools. Our comfortable surroundings offer a setting of affection and trust where your child can feel safe and free to grow. We know the strength of our programs come from the commitment of excellence on the part of our staff. Our staff is selected on the basis of their educational background, teaching experience, and personal qualities.
We are a nature-based program with a strong focus on art, offering both a preschool program and afterschool enrichment through art classes and half-day camps on local school minimum days in the North Park area. Our unique property is nestled within the heart of the North Park community, featuring an expansive outdoor space and a dedicated building designed specifically for our programs. As part of our nature-based philosophy, we’ve created a mini-farm environment that includes a therapy dog, a quail farm, two free-roaming bunnies, three cats, and two guinea pigs. This living environment provides children with daily opportunities to connect with animals, explore the outdoors, and learn through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
