The mission of the Downtown Orange Preschool is to create a Christian faith based program which will provide your child with a strong biblical foundation leading to loving and honoring the teachings of Jesus Christ. We seek to establish an environment where each child feels valued and respected and young minds are nourished with dynamic academic, physical, social and emotional development essential for life-long achievement. We strive to partner with parents and encourage them to become actively involved in our students educational journey.
Our goal is to provide tender, love and care for our wonderful angels. Children are provided meals on non-toxic plates and we avoid plastic. Our meals are nutritious and organic. We provide a peaceful, screen-free environment where children can learn, play, explore and connect without distractions of social media, TV, computers, tablets or cell phones. We provide the children with warm meals, including breakfast, lunch, snack. We motivate the children with fun yet highly educational activities that stimulate their psycho-social and emotional development.They are kept engaged through their daily exposure to storytelling, character-playing, music, dance, arts and crafts.We also provide age appropriate preschool training for the children. The children are taught in English and Spanish, encouraging appropriate fluency in both languages. We also provide special training for the children as needed, such as potty training. For the infants we provide all organic food and baby wipes. We have a room separate from the toddlers.
St. Paul's Preschool is a part time school offering a comprehensive learning experience for children ages 2 - 6 years of age. We offer both morning and afternoon sessions. We are a community of children, parents and teachers committed to supporting one another in raising competent and caring children while respecting and supporting their unique gifts and potential. We believe that children are curious, competent and capable learners. We offer small teacher/ student ratios. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia educational model and offer numerous opportunities for children to express their ideas and hypotheses through a variety of mixed media. We have an extensive working garden, music and motor lab programs. Our staff has provided educator's workshops to teachers throughout the surrounding counties. Staff are trained to carefully listen, observe and document each child's work and growth. They are skilled in integrating basic academic skills and standards into project work.
