New World Child Development Center has been in Sunnyvale since September 1998. We serve ages 12 weeks to 12 years old (after-school), depending on the location of the center. New World CDC is the first bi-lingual Mandarin and English child development center to open in the Silicon Valley. We serve a diverse group of children and families; our staff is highly qualified and our turn-over rate is generally low. With our hands-on learning environment, we work with the "whole child"; social, emotional and academic. New World offers a variety of learning activities each day for the children to enjoy and excel in their life experiences. We promote the development of positive and healthy self-image along with respect. Promoting curiosity helps with the process of learning. Effective communication skills encourage self-expression and group discussion. Unique creativity is actively encouraged. New World CDC also offers various enrichment activities at an additional fee.

The Safari Kid curriculum helps children meet developmental milestones. Our proprietorial, research-based practices and progressive teaching methods lay the foundation for a love of learning. Through positive behavioral guidance children can confidently build an interactive learning community. Well-trained and passionate teachers provide every child with personalized care and attention. Safari Kid also believes in building strong relationships with our families, and therefore our teachers will consistently keep parents well-informed of their child’s progress. This careful methodology and relationship building approach prepares our children for Kindergarten and beyond.
