Serving ages 2-5 with half, school and full day programs. Our certified outdoor classroom, light/reflection center, farm-to-preschool program, dramatic play loft and Reggio-Emilia inspired open art studio set our school apart from others. Children and parents alike love our farm-to-preschool program that includes weekly cooking, gardening, a local foods CSA program with tons of in-season produce, and all-natural AM and PM snacks. Experienced teachers and an authentic web-based assessment tool help us individualize each child's experience and prepare detailed parent reports. Come for your child, stay for yourself! Horizon Hills Parenting Program is a cooperative Learning Environment where experiences are structured so that parents and children learn together! Horizon Hills Parenting Program has been an integral part of the Conejo Valley Adult Education Program for over 30 years. We are not an accredited preschool, but instead an accredited Adult School (Western Association for Schools and Colleges) for adults who wish to learn about child development and actively participate with their children in a play-based environment. Children learn through play and free exploration of their environment. We also give children the opportunity to learn and practice social skills, building their self-esteem and self-confidence that will last a lifetime. The Parenting Program is an alternative to a traditional preschool. Infant, toddler and two-year old classes require parent participation at all class sessions. In classes for 3- to 5-year-olds, parents participate approximately once a week, and have the opportunity to leave the child in class during non-participation days. We welcome all students; mothers, fathers, and grandparents; students of all races, nationalities and religions. Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), Conejo Valley Adult School is an integral part of the Conejo Valley Unified School District.
Year Round Christian Preschool and Childcare, we accept children 2 years through 5 years of age (potty-trained not required). We offer full-time, Monday through Friday 7:30am to 6:00pm, as well as 2 or 3 days per week both full day and preschool/pre-kindergarten only. You are free to choose the days you need. Our rates are affordable, and no contract is required.
