The RCS Board of Directors together with the Superintendent regularly review this mission and our progress in fulfilling it. In an effort to more clearly communicate the Board's heart and intent, the Board has developed statements that describe the essence of each of these missions, what we call our Ends. While we state these Ends in terms of the result we seek to achieve by the time a senior graduates from RCS, we expect the process for achieving this (and the evidence that it is being achieved) to be evident in age appropriate ways throughout a student's career at RCS, beginning in elementary school. This mission is more than a slogan. It is driven into everything we do at RCS, from the Elementary through the High School, and even in the Preschool in many respects. We measure our academics, athletics, arts, spiritual and outreach programs using this mission as our guide. It serves as a constant reminder to staff and students that this mission is foundational to who we are as a school and as a community of believers committed to raising up the next generation of Christian leaders.
