Childrens World Preschool is a place where children are loved and nurtured. Our intentionally inviting classroom environment promotes curiosity, inquiry, and exploratory learning. Mommy & Me, Pre-School, Camp and Enrichment Our programs are offered from 7:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Full-time and part-time programs are available for children ages 2 - 5. MECE is planned with keen awareness of the special characteristics, needs, interests, and way of learning of the young child. With loving teachers, MECE seeks to promote the child's spiritual, physical, intellectual, and social-emotional maturity in an atmosphere which reflects basic religious values common to both the Methodist Church and other Christian religions.
Where Joyful Learning Begins! The daily schedule and curriculum are structured with a centered approach to learning. Daily activities are geared torward the developmental level of the children. Socialization is a key factor in planning all center and teacher directed activities with emphasis on language development and socialization. The thematic approach is presented in a planned curriculum of activities and allows for discovery learning. Thematic topics are chosen for their high interest to preschoolers. Centers are arranged around the room and include: reading and language arts; listening station; math and science center, housekeeping; art and fine motor; manipulative games and puzzles; block play; computer; and dramatic play.
