Small Steps on a Learning Adventure Teachers carefully plan age appropriate activities that revolve around the theme of the month. These activities include Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Language, Sensory, Cognitive, Music and Movement, Creative Expression and Story Time.
Kids in Motion is an early childhood education center where children can learn and develop in a nurturing environment. We offer learning based preschool care for ages 2-5. Kids in Motion also offers after school and no school day camp for children ages 5-12.
Creative Child Learning Center is an APPLE-accredited preschool serving children from toddler to pre-kindergarten. We offer a nurturing learning environment featuring a hands-on, inquiry-based curriculum and exciting enrichment activities that develop creativity and enthusiasm towards learning. Our bright, spacious classrooms facilitate cooperative play and exploration, while our large, outdoor playgrounds are designed to enhance gross motor skills. A premier Spanish-immersion early learning program serving children ages 1–5 and kindergarten. We offer a holistic, project-based curriculum with a strong focus on STEAM education, including yoga led by a certified instructor and hands-on garden learning. Our program is designed to be accessible to families, accepting ELC School Readiness, free VPK, Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood, and Step Up scholarships. Nutritious meals are included in tuition through our partnership with the Health Department, within a Piaget and Montessori-inspired learning environment.
The objectives of a good nursery program is to create a warm, healthy and happy environment where small children can grow and develop emotionally and cognitively as well as physically. At Chai Center Preschool we strive to do this in a most professional and caring manner. Additionally, we endeavour to impart a love and flair for the beauty of our religion and culture, as well as nurture and develop faith and trust in G-d. We hope to inculcate a love for Israel, all things Jewish and an involvement in the performance of the Mitzvot (precepts) of the Torah. Ivrit - Hebrew language is used in both formal and informal instruction and becomes a part of the daily routine, as well as holiday fun and games. In early childhood, the seeds of learning, Jewish identity, curiosity and caring are planted. Our program spans a period of intense personal, social and academic growth. Young children develop at different paces. Our teachers are sensitive to the wide range of abilities and developmental levels within this age group. They offer creative activities that fit into the broad developmental continuum represented by the students. Each classroom has teachers who guide the children and promote active learning, problem-solving, discovery of friendship and exploration of their new, expanded learning world. The classroom is a community in which Jewish values are modeled and reinforced and Hebrew language is introduced through songs, games, and simple conversation.
