Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK). We provide nurturing day care and creative learning in a safe, home-like environment. Our School Readiness Pathway was designed to empower you with educational options to create the most fitting path for your child and to address each child's specific developmental needs. We offer specialized curriculum in our infant care, toddler care, early preschool, preschool, Pre-K/Pre-Kindergarten, junior Kindergarten and private Kindergarten programs. Banyan Elementary School is a Title 1 school that enrolls more than 300 students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school has several academic departments, such as language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. It additionally offers classes in music, art, and health and physical education. Banyan Elementary School offers English as a Second Language and gifted and talented education programs. It has a media center that offers fiction and nonfiction books, online databases, catalogs and an accelerated reader program. The school s supply list includes glue sticks, markers, pocket folders, notebooks, scissors and crayons.
