Joshua House Early Care and Learning Center specializes in providing quality, affordable childcare to children ages six weeks to four years. Our center is nationally accredited by the National Association of Child Care Providers and was recently designated as a 3-Star Quality Rated center by the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.
Mattie Wells Primary School is located in Macon, Ga. It enrolls more than 400 students in grades kindergarten through two. Admissions are based on a combination of factors, including personal interviews with the students and parents, admission tests, recommendations from teachers, classroom visit, and other related information. The school s curriculum includes classes in English, Spanish, math, science and social studies. Computers are regularly used in all academic classes. The school has a parent-teacher association that participates in curriculum and student development activities. The student-teacher ratio in the school is 16-to-1. The student body comprises students from diverse ethnic backgrounds, including, Asian, Hispanic, Caucasian and African- American students. Mattie Wells Primary School is part of the Jones County Schools.
