Learning and Growing In Gods Love
The Owl's Nest Daycare & Preschool is committed to providing the highest quality child care environment possible. We pursue this commitment by integrating an age-appropriate educational curriculum and a healthy, peaceful environment in which a child's social, emotional, creative, and physical needs develop. We set extremely high standards for the staff who care for your child in order to ensure a successful relationship with the child and the child's parents. Every child is unique and the staff will provide a positive, nurturing relationship whereby staff help to develop a high sense of self-esteem and self-worth for your child. And your child will learn to live together, problem solve, and appreciate the things that make everyone special. The Owl's Nest Daycare & Preschool curriculum is focused on improving academic performance, emphasizing positive social behavior, reducing conduct problems, and minimizing emotional distress.
Bright Days Preschool is an in-home preschool where we believe children learn best through play and hands-on learning. The preschool is focused on learning social skills, life skills, good manners and all academics needed for kindergarten. We teach ages 3-5 and the class sizes are a max of 6 children for more personalized learning and one-on-one time. We have a 4-hour class schedule which really helps prepare children for the long days they will have in kindergarten.
Our Childcare Centers are licensed by the State of Idaho and maintain the highest standards of teaching, cleanliness and safety. Our curriculum is adapted from The Creative Curriculum for Preschool, which balances teacher-directed and child-initiated learning. With this, alongside each classroom's customized curriculum, we are able to respond to children's different learning styles and build upon their strengths. Our teachers are provided with a wide variety of resources they can use to enhance the children's learning environment. Lesson plans are created around a weekly theme and are reviewed by the Director on a continual basis. These Lesson Plans, The Daily Schedule, and the monthly Newsletter are posted in the classroom for parents to review.
