We are a year-round Peoria preschool seeking to cultivate meaningful learning experiences for children ages 2.5 to 6 years old. Our project-based curriculum mixes play, nature, and hands-on, investigative learning. This allows your child to develop his or her social and academic skills the way children learn best--through purposeful play and engaging experiences. We provide personal quality care for infants through 12 years of age. For infants through preschool age, we offer a multi-age classroom environment where children observe a natural progression of development by the modeling of older children. our school-age children have a separate space design for gross play as well as individual space for such times as doing homework. We have several learning centers with the highest quality of furniture and learning manipulative. Our teacher to child ratio is 1 to 4 for infants through age 5. We provide lots of one on one interactions as well as small group play. We offer transportation from some of the area schools for our aftercare program.
Fun-N-Fit Preschool, a part of The Clubs at River City, conducts swimming classes and tennis and basketball activities for children. It has a more than 30,000-square-foot facility that features a gymnastics and tumbling area, indoor pool, multi-sport court and martial arts studio. The school offers child care, educational, and before- and after-school programs. Fun-N-Fit Preschool also organizes parent conferences and summer camps. It provides transportation and food services, as well as classes in physical education. The Clubs at River City operates athletic, youth fitness and racquet clubs.
