Preschool traditions enhanced by the science of learning. Astra Day School is a local, independent school that features early-childhood, preschool, and kindergarten cohorts led by highly-trained, passionate professionals. At Astra, we apply the science of learning and planned learning environments to optimize cognitive, emotional, and social achievement in a spacious, vibrant, and lively setting. Astra arranges a 5 to 1 student to teacher ratio present during the teaching day. Astra literacy instruction is informed by research demonstrating the importance of early reading. We teach all students using practices that predict fluent readers before Kindergarten. We welcome the interest of parents of children no older than 48 months. Preschool enrollment is for ages two and half through six. Toileting is not an eligibility requirement. We are open year round and have no enrollment deadlines. Full time hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm. Early and after-care is available.
Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and Preschool share the love of Jesus with the families we serve. We offer a loving, Christian 5 Day a week preschool, as well as part-time preschool and Mother's Day Out Classes for children from 18 months old - Pre-Kindergarten. Children grow developmentally, spiritually, academically, and physically through hands-on, age-appropriate, fun learning experiences.
