Established in 1956, Capitol City Baptist Church & Ministries is an independent church that offers a range of worship, Bible study and adult education services. The church provides bus transportation and child care services, as well as operates deaf and teen ministries. Capitol City Baptist Church & Ministries maintains Capitol City Baptist School, which was established in 1973 and enrolls more than 150 students in preschool through grade 12. Capitol City Baptist School offers several athletic opportunities, such as soccer and volleyball. The school provides scholarships, as well as conducts classes in fine arts. Capitol City Baptist Church & Ministries also operates Capitol City Baptist Bible Institute and College.
